We are seeking a passionate and resilient Reintegration Worker to join a dedicated Alternative Provision in the Tiptree area from September 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who require additional support to re-engage with education and successfully transition back into mainstream settings. You will play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to create successful reintegration pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis to re-engage with learning
- Develop and implement personalised reintegration plans
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may be disengaged from education
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and pastoral teams
- Liaise with parents/carers and external professionals to ensure consistent support
- Monitor and track progress against reintegration targets
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Assist with transition planning back into mainstream education or onward provisions
