About the Part‑Time 1:1 Outreach Tutor Position
Prospero Teaching are looking for 1:1 tutors to support children in care, children with special educational needs and excluded pupils across Essex.
Responsibilities
- Provide varied part‑time tuition during the school day or after school hours/weekends, mainly focusing on Maths, English, and sometimes Science across all key stages (students typically at low levels up to foundation).
- Support learners who may have behavioural and/or SEN difficulties and tend to perform at lower levels than their peers.
- Teach in students’ homes, care homes, local libraries, or other settings.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and bring experience from the education sector.
