We are working closely with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school who are looking for an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the role to become permanent.
About the Role:
- You'll be teaching English to students with a range of additional learning needs.
- The role involves planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons to support students in developing both their academic skills and confidence.
- You'll be working alongside a supportive team including SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and therapists.
Requirements:
- Has a real passion for inclusive education and making a difference.
- Can deliver tailored English lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Brings a creative and positive approach to the classroom.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Experience teaching in UK schools - essential.
- Experience in SEN settings - highly desirable (but strong mainstream teachers with a genuine interest in SEN will also be considered).
Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
