Prospero Teaching are supporting a warm, nurturing and well-resourced primary school in the Ellesmere Port area who are looking to appoint a full-time EYFS Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years practitioner who has experience delivering high-quality early childhood education and is looking for a role where creativity, play-based learning and children’s emotional development are prioritised.
The role:
As an EYFS Teacher, you will take the lead within the early years classroom, planning and delivering engaging, child-centred lessons that support learning through play. You will work closely with support staff, SEN leads and the senior leadership team to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where every child feels confident, valued and eager to learn. The school are looking for an early years practitioner who is proactive, nurturing and committed to supporting children at the very start of their education journey.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality early years lessons across the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating early childhood learning environment
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
- Using observations and assessments to track pupil progress
- Working closely with EYFS support staff to deliver targeted small-group learning
