Prospero Teaching are supporting warm and welcoming primary schools across the Birkenhead area who are looking to appoint a full-time EYFS Teacher for long-term roles starting in February. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years practitioner who enjoys creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children at the very start of their education journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the EYFS curriculum
  • Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating early years learning environment
  • Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
  • Using observations and assessments to track progress and inform next steps
  • Working closely with EYFS support staff and SEND teams where required
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and early learning routines

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching within the EYFS or early years setting
  • Warm, patient and enthusiastic about early childhood development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to deliver engaging lessons through play and exploration
  • Understanding of safeguarding and early years policies
