Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic ECT ready to kick-start your teaching career and gain experience across a variety of primary school settings? We're looking for adaptable and proactive ECTs to bring energy, creativity and a passion for learning to classrooms across the Wirral.
Early Career Teacher (ECT)
As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to support our Wirral primary schools. A successful applicant will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong desire to develop their skills while gaining valuable classroom experience.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location β Birkenhead
- Position β Early Career Teacher (ECT) β Primary Supply
- Type of work β Day-to-day and short-term supply
- Start date β As soon as possible
- Contract type β Temporary
- Full time/part time β Flexible
- Minimum rate of pay β Minimum rate Β£120 per day
- Hours β 8:00am to 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Teaching qualification with QTS
- Completed or currently completing ECT induction period
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
