Contract / Position Details:
- Location: Various schools in Dorset and South Somerset
- Position: Secondary Supply Teacher (covering multiple subjects)
- Type of Work: Delivering lessons and maintaining classroom standards in the absence of the class teacher
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing until further notice
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Full-time / Part-time: Both available - daily supply
- Minimum Rate of Pay: From £135 per day
- Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Essential: QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification; Previous experience working in a UK secondary school
- Desirable: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year); Strong classroom management and adaptability
Eligibility Requirements:
- To work through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK; Have an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one); Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
