Join Our Team - Support Multilingual Learners to Thrive
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers and In-Class Support Staff to work with students who use English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We are particularly interested in candidates who can support or speak the following languages:
- Polish
- Ukrainian
- Urdu
- Hindi
- Arabic
- Bengali
- Farsi / Dari / Persian
Roles Available
EAL TeachersYou will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to EAL learners
- Assess student language development and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Support students in developing English proficiency across all curriculum areas
- Work collaboratively with mainstream teachers and support staff
You will:
- Provide in-class support to EAL students
- Assist with translation and communication where appropriate
- Help students access the curriculum and engage fully in lessons
- Support social integration and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (preferably in an educational setting)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in one or more of the listed languages (highly desirable)
- For teaching roles: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Cultural awareness and a commitment to inclusive education
