Prospero Teaching is looking for an After School Club Assistant for a welcoming two form-entry primary school in Merton, South West London. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the school has delightful pupils who are eager to learn and thrive within a happy, diverse, and supportive school community.
The successful After School Club Assistant will join a dedicated team committed to providing a high-quality, stimulating, and caring environment for children of all ages attending the after-school provision. The position is only open to experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location: Merton, South West London
- Type of Work: Supporting and supervising children during after-school club activities, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for children of all ages
- Start Date: September 2026
- Pay Rate: GBP50 - GBP55 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours: 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only excluding INSET days)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Ability to provide a warm, caring, and responsive environment for children
- Experience working effectively as part of a team in a primary school
- Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting children of different ages
