Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher, specialising in Food and Nutrition, to join a well-regarded secondary school in Holbury. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, well-planned lessons to Key Stage 3 students, inspiring creativity, independence, and a love for practical learning. The Role

  • Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) specialising in D&T or Food Technology.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food & Nutrition.
  • Experience teaching KS3 students.
  • Confident in delivering practical lessons safely and effectively.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with strong classroom management.
  • Passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative learners.

  • Salary: GBP 32,916 - GBP 51,047 per annum (depending on experience)

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • QTS/QTLS required.
  • Experience delivering Food & Nutrition within a school environment.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided).

Eligibility

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to provide two professional references from recent teaching roles.
