Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary PPA Teacher for a Primary school in Wilmington, DA2. The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team, going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. The position is open to both NQT’s and experienced teachers, with the potential for contract extension or permanent placement depending on performance.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location: Wilmington, DA2
- Position: PPA Primary Teacher
- Type of work: PPA Class Teacher covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 across the school
- Start date: JAN 2026
- End date: July 2026
- Contract type: Contract (full time)
- Minimum rate: £150 per day
- Hours: 8:30 am – 4 pm Mon‑Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- SQTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
