Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting dedicated Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Halton. This role involves delivering engaging 1:1 tuition to learners who may be out of education, accessing alternative provision or requiring additional support to re-engage with learning. Every tuition programme is tailored to the individual, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a lasting impact.
Position Details
- Location: Halton
- Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience teaching or tutoring on a 1:1 basis
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or those accessing alternative provision
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Provide two professional child-related references
