About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to support students who are out of mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including medical needs, anxiety, permanent exclusion, or other challenges. Many of these young people have experienced gaps in their education and may lack confidence. Your role will be to help re-engage them in learning, rebuild their self-esteem, and provide a structured, supportive environment that promotes both academic and personal development. You will work in partnership with Prospero Teaching to monitor progress and ensure each session delivers meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to meet individual learning needs
- Provide structure and consistency to support daily routines
- Support both academic progress and emotional development
- Track and report progress to families and relevant stakeholders
- Adapt teaching methods creatively to engage each student
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- QTS qualified (or equivalent)
- Experienced in UK classroom teaching
- Skilled in supporting SEND pupils or those disengaged from education
- Patient, creative, and adaptable in their approach
