Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently working in partnership with a warm and inclusive school who are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions.
- Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an SEN setting is required. A calm, patient and adaptable approach to working with children is essential, along with a genuine desire to support the learning and development of children with additional needs. A DBS on the update service is also necessary.
