SEN Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start
Location: Crawley
Salary: £21,000 to £24,000
Full-time: Permanent Term Time Only
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently working in partnership with a warm and inclusive school who are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and developing social and communication skills.
- Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an SEN setting.
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine desire to support the learning and development of children with additional needs.
- DBS on the update service.
