Prospero Teaching is looking for committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a range of mainstream and SEN secondary schools across Basingstoke. While you will cover lessons across the curriculum, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong Maths skills or an academic background in Mathematics, as this subject is frequently requested by our partner schools.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a positive learning environment for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Contract Details:
- Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
- Position: Cover Supervisor
- Type of work: Supervising and delivering pre-set lessons for Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract type: Temporary
- Duration: Ongoing
- Full time/Part time: Full time or ad-hoc
- Pay rate: GBP100 to GBP130 per day
- Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- A degree is desirable, with Maths or STEM particularly welcomed
- Minimum one year’s experience working with young people
- Safeguarding training completed within the last 12 months (provided if needed)
Eligibility:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to supply two professional references relating to work with children
