Job description
Cover Supervisor (Temporary / Flexible) – Hackney
What is a Cover Supervisor?
A cover supervisor is responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Their primary role is to ensure that students remain engaged in learning activities while following the teacher’s lesson plan. Cover supervisors do not usually teach new content or provide subject-specific expertise. Instead, they maintain order in the classroom, oversee the completion of work assigned by the absent teacher, and provide support where needed.
