About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
· Classroom Management: Oversee students, maintain discipline, and ensure a calm learning environment.
· Following Lesson Plans: Implement the work set by the absent teacher, making sure students are working on the tasks assigned.
· Providing Support: Assist students with understanding the tasks, but not to the extent of teaching new concepts.
· Ensuring Safety: Ensure a safe environment, handling minor behavioural issues and reporting any significant problems to senior staff.
· Administrative Tasks: Mark attendance, distribute materials, and complete any necessary documentation related to the lesson.
