Are you a dedicated SEN Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Liverpool? We are seeking an experienced and compassionate tutor to work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities:- Deliver one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to SEN learning profiles.
- Adapt teaching methods and lesson content to support emotional regulation and individual learning styles.
- Support students in building confidence in their subject knowledge, study skills, and exam readiness.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment that fosters student growth.
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents/carers or professionals when necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
- Experience working with SEN students in one-to-one or small group settings.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
