Job description

Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly reports. We will work with you to build your timetable & achieve the number of hours you are looking for per week.

Information about the role:

Ongoing placement, or until the young person returns to school
Hours dependent on the young persons needs
GBP25 GBP30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

The desired candidate will have:

Experience tutoring Maths and English on a 1:1 or small group basis
QTS is desireable but not essential
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

What we need from you:

Hold a right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to complete a new application
Provide references to cover the last two years of employment
The ability to commit to the young person and work for the duration of the placement
