Computer Science Teacher

Location: West Derby, Liverpool
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time
Duration: Full Academic Year
Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to work in an outstanding secondary school in the West Derby area. This full-time role will begin in September 2025 and will continue for the full academic year.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching position from September 2025
  • Delivering engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Supporting student progress and contributing to a successful department
  • Participating in departmental planning, assessment, and wider school activities
  • The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Be a team player with a positive and professional attitude
