A forward-thinking secondary school near Bury St Edmunds is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Specialist to join their successful and expanding ICT & Computing department.
About the Role
We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and dynamic Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 available depending on experience). You will bring the curriculum to life through practical learning, coding challenges, problem-solving activities and real-world digital applications.
What We Are Looking For
- A qualified teacher (ECT or experienced) with a specialism in Computer Science
- Strong knowledge of coding, algorithms, networks, cybersecurity, and computing theory
- Experience delivering GCSE Computer Science (OCR/AQA/Edexcel)
- A passion for digital learning and emerging technologies
- Someone who inspires curiosity, confidence and creativity in young people
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
