About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding Complex SEN Tutor to work 1:1 with learners who present a wide range of needs including (but not limited to):
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
- Severe learning difficulties
- Speech, language and communication needs
- Sensory processing differences
- Emotional and behavioural regulation challenges
- Trauma-related needs
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or young people with complex and multiple SEN.
- Deep understanding of neurodiversity, alternative communication methods, and trauma-informed practice.
- Able to work independently and flexibly, often outside traditional classroom structures.
- Resilience, patience, and creativity – with a problem-solving mindset.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, therapy or SEN (desirable but not essential – experience is key).
