Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils at a welcoming primary school in Kings Heath from September 2026. This role will involve working closely with children with complex additional needs, providing 1:1 and small group support both inside and outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment while supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

  • Full-time, long-term role
  • September 2026 start
  • Primary school based in Kings Heath
  • Monday to Friday, school hours
  • Competitive daily pay, depending on experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience supporting children with complex SEN needs
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Experience working within a school or care setting
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • References covering the last 24 months
