Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a complex needs specialist in Oldbury. This is an opportunity for someone wanting to make a difference to young persons' lives, providing holistic care, nurture and support. The ideal candidate has a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Qualification, would like to work with SEN Primary children, and can do 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday.
Students are supported to re-engage with learning, develop practical skills, and work towards emotional support. As a learning support assistant, the candidate will have experience in either PMLD, complex needs, SLD or ASD.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Position: LSA

- Start date: October 2026 (possibly sooner)

- Pay: From GBP95-108.21 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Working hours: 08.30-15.30
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Level 3 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/SEN
- Level 2 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/SEN
- SEN knowledge either personal or professional
- Physically fit to support mobility issues
- Nurturing and passionate individual
- Knowledge of SEN support
- Care or school experience/environments
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced Child/Adult Barred List DBS registered with the update service, or be willing to apply
- Provide a minimum of two professional, child-related references
