Prospero Teaching are looking for High Level Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in and around Colchester on a supply basis from September 2026 or earlier.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Colchester
  • Position - High Level Teaching Assistant
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP / 01/09/2026
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full-time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £(Apply online only) per day
  • Hours - 8.00am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous HLTA experience is ESSENTIAL
  • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
