Overview: SEN Teaching Assistant – Mainstream School. Location: Leyton. Pay: Daily Rate - £100 - £115. Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term. Start Date: ASAP.

We are working with a welcoming mainstream school seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. You will provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties, helping them access learning and develop confidence in the classroom. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support and promote inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in a mainstream setting
  • Assist with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Follow EHCPs and individual support plans
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
