Dedicated and passionate Maths Teachers are required to work across secondary schools in Greenwich from April 2026/September 2026. Prospero are looking for Maths teachers who are willing to do day to day, short term and long term cover mainly to teach KS3 and KS4. These positions are one to five days a week, part time and full time, and are open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.
Responsibilities
- You will be required to become fully involved within the department and school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required.
- You should be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning.
- You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

- Minimum rate of pay from GBP150 per day or pay to Scale
- Hours - 8:15am to 4:00pm
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
- Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
- Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
