Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons in Maths and English, tailored to primary learning levels.
- Adapt lesson content and pace to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Support students in building subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
- Establish a trusting and consistent rapport to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals as required.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at primary level.
- Experience working with learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE in Primary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
