Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Street, Somerset, to recruit two Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their dedicated team. These are full-year roles (not term time only), offering the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that prioritises high-quality early years education and care.

Roles

  • Part-Time Role (Fixed Term - 1 Year)
    Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00
    Ideal for candidates seeking a consistent part-time schedule
  • Full-Time Role (Permanent)
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (37 hours per week)

Pay
£13.78 per hour (for both positions)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing

  • Observe, track, and report on children's development

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
  • Pediatric First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A passion for supporting children's development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
