Learning Support Assistant (Post-16) - FE College
Start: As soon as possible
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Contract: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to Post-16 learners across a variety of curriculum areas
- Assist students with understanding tasks, building confidence, and developing independence
- Support learners with communication, social skills, and organisation
- Adapt materials and resources to meet individual learning needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching teams and support staff
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience supporting learners within an FE, Post-16, or secondary setting
- Understanding of SEND and additional learning needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work proactively and supportively with young adults
