Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic school currently seeking an enthusiastic Caretaker with a passion for maintaining a safe and clean environment. The school, located near Poole, offers a supportive and rewarding environment for pupils aged 2-19 years.

This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, resilient, and have experience in maintenance, security, and general upkeep of school premises. We welcome applicants with relevant experience in caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management. Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Experience in basic maintenance of heating, lighting, plumbing, and security systems
• Ability to store equipment, furniture, and materials safely
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Experience in security procedures for buildings and grounds
• Ability to perform minor repairs and direct contractors
• Experience in cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Ability to maintain grounds and address hazards
• Knowledge of fire evacuation plans and safety compliance
• Experience in ordering cleaning equipment and maintaining work logs
• Understanding of policies related to health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies

Eligibility:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
