We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Dulwich to recruit a Careers Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive administrator to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in helping students prepare for their future education and career pathways.
The Role
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the school’s careers programme.
- Coordinate careers fairs, employer talks, university visits and other events.
- Maintain accurate careers records and databases.
- Liaise with students, parents, staff, employers, universities and external organisations.
- Support the administration of work experience placements and associated documentation.
- Prepare communications, newsletters and promotional materials.
- Assist with data collection, reporting and compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance.
- Act as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for careers-related enquiries.
About You
- Previous administrative experience within a school or education setting.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- A professional, positive and approachable manner.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people and their future aspirations.
