We are recruiting a Care Support Teaching Assistant to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a special school based in Fazakerley, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them access learning in a caring, structured environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education and training for children with complex needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Providing personal care and emotional support where required
* Implementing behaviour support strategies and individual learning plans
* Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, and independence skills
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
* Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times
