Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Promote and encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day.
- Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery, preparation of resources, and classroom activities.
- Provide additional help to pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) where required.
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in relevant training sessions.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent Welsh speaker (written and verbal).
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Ability to follow instructions and use initiative when needed.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
Desirable
- Experience in a secondary school environment.
