Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh
- Promote the use of Welsh language throughout the school day
- Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), where required
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and displays
- Support pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development
- Supervise pupils during activities, break times, and educational visits as required
Essential Criteria
- Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Good understanding of the primary/secondary curriculum (as applicable)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
