About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in the Maghull area starting in as soon as possible. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic educator. A successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with QTS.

Secondary Business Teacher
Location: Maghull, L31
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am β 4.00pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons on business concepts such as finance, marketing, management, and economics.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Prepare students for exams, coursework, and real-world applications.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through case studies and projects.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support those who need additional help.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Business or related
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
