Job Description
Business and Economics Teacher
A medium sized, mixed, Ofsted Good secondary school in South West London is seeking a Business and Economics teacher to join the team starting February 2025. The ideal candidate will be qualified, have a degree related to Business Studies or Economics, and be a passionate educator who can teach Business and Economics to a high standard.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS TEACHING CONTRACT:
- Full time teaching post
- Business and Economics taught at key stage 4 and key stage 5
- A level Business and Economics is taught
- Multiple opportunities for progression available
- Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment
- Supportive and high energy Business and Economics department
- This is a full-time position including planning and marking
- Interviewing ASAP
THE RIGHT BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS TEACHER WILL BE:
- Hold a BA and PGCE in Business and Economics
- Confident with teaching GCSE
- Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Exceptional Business Studies UK classroom teaching experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
Salary paid to scale – teachers pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience.
