We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive primary school in Bury that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026. The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Possess excellent behaviour management skills
- Be committed to raising standards and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Thrive within a collaborative and supportive team
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to working with children
