About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work at the heart of a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to helping students with complex SEND needs flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. No two days will look the same – and that's exactly what makes this role so rewarding. Whether you're delivering tailored learning activities, supporting a therapy programme, or helping a student regulate and re-engage, your contribution will be felt every single day.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people with SEND, complex needs, ASD, or SEMH - ideally in a school or specialist setting
- A patient, nurturing approach with high expectations for every student
- Confidence supporting across a range of needs and learning styles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A CACHE qualification, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent is desirable
- A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and the wellbeing of young people
To Be Eligible You Must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional references from child‑related roles
