About the Role: As a SEND Support Worker, you'll provide hands‑on, personalised support to students whose needs require a little more—more patience, more creativity, more consistency. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families, you'll help remove the barriers that stand between a young person and their potential. It's challenging, meaningful work, and no two days will ever be the same.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting young people with complex SEND needs — in a school, care, or specialist setting
- Confidence working with students with PMLD, SLD, ASD, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments
- A warm, person‑centred approach with genuine commitment to student wellbeing; ability to follow detailed support and care plans accurately and consistently
- Any experience of BSL, AAC, Makaton, or other communication approaches is a strong advantage
- Cache, NVQ, or relevant health and social care qualification desirable

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional references from child‑related roles
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
