Salary: £900 - £1,300 per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role

  • Deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH
  • Create a supportive and structured learning environment to promote emotional regulation and resilience
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans and behaviour strategies
  • Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care and progress
  • Track pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching SEMH or in specialist settings
  • Strong understanding of SEMH, SEND, and positive behaviour strategies
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and pastoral care
  • Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potential

To Be Eligible You Must

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
  • Be able to provide two professional child‑related references
