We are seeking Secondary and Post-16 Teaching Assistants to join a specialist secondary and sixth form school in Bury, supporting pupils aged 11–19 with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across secondary and post-16 classes.
  • Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning programmes and ensuring pupils can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Support the development of independence, life skills, and social engagement.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets.
  • Work closely with the school team, families, and external agencies to ensure a nurturing and inclusive environment.

To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply).
  • Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred).
