Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing primary school, working as part of their Early Years team on a Long Term/Permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed practitioner who is enthusiastic about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The Role

  • Supporting children across Nursery/Reception within the school's Early Years setting
  • Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, play‑based learning activities
  • Providing high-quality care in line with EYFS requirements
  • Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher and wider EYFS team
  • Offering 1:1 or group support where required
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate - essential
  • Experience working within an Early Years environment
  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
