About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Primary Teacher to join one of our partnered schools that caters to children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils who thrive on individualised teaching approaches and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and SENCOs
  • Track and report on pupil progress using EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
  • Contribute to a whole-school ethos that puts pupils' wellbeing first

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of autism, sensory processing and behaviour management strategies
  • Excellent communication, empathy and resilience
  • Team player with a commitment to inclusive education
