Prospero Teaching is delighted to be working with a welcoming and well-resourced school in Bromley to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Hair & Beauty Lecturer for a full-time position starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hair & Beauty professional or qualified lecturer to inspire learners and deliver engaging vocational education, helping students develop the practical skills and industry knowledge required for future careers.
The Role
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Hair & Beauty lessons.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners in developing professional and employability skills.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within practical learning environments.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience teaching or lecturing Hair & Beauty in a school, college or training setting.
- A recognised Hair & Beauty qualification (Level 3 or above).
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
