Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced and nurturing Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work across a variety of nurseries in Bristol. We have flexible opportunities available on an ad-hoc/supply basis, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and temp-to-perm opportunities. Whether you are looking for occasional shifts to fit around your schedule or a longer-term position, we can offer work to suit your availability.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

  • Location: Bristol
  • Position: Nursery Practitioner (Supply)
  • Pay: £15-£17 per hour
  • Hours: Flexible - Full Days, AM Shifts, and PM Shifts
  • Contract Types: Ad-hoc, Short-Term, Long-Term, and Temp-to-Perm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Level 3 Early Years / Childcare Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
  • Ability to support children's learning, development, play, and wellbeing
  • A caring, patient, reliable, and professional approach

Safeguarding training is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Child Barred List Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Provide two childcare-related professional references covering the last two years
