About the Role
As an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within high-quality nursery settings. You'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children's learning through play and planned activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and record children's development and achievements.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times.
- Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- Must have access to your own transport and be willing to travel to nursery settings across Bristol and surrounding areas.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory, or you must be willing to obtain one through Prospero.
- A minimum of 24 months' referencing history is required.
- Paediatric First Aid certification is mandatory.
