Are you a passionate Early Years professional with experience working with babies? Do you thrive in creating nurturing, stimulating environments where children can flourish? We're looking for an enthusiastic Baby Room Lead to join a well-established nursery in Bristol and lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding care and education.
The Role
As the Baby Room Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the baby room, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and learning for children aged 0-2 years. You will lead by example, support and develop your team, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the baby room team to deliver exceptional childcare.
- Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitor and support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting a positive working culture.
- Maintain accurate records and observations.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Previous experience working within a nursery baby room
- Experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early development
