About the School: We are partnering with a well‑established school in Bradford with a Resourced Provision for students with special educational needs (SEN). The provision offers a supportive and inclusive environment, where students can thrive academically and socially while receiving personalized care and attention.
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant in the Resourced Provision, you will support students with various SEN in their learning, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support for students with SEN.
- Assist with the implementation of personalized learning plans.
- Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment in collaboration with the SENCO.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience supporting students with SEN (preferably in an educational setting).
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable.
- A genuine passion for supporting children in their educational journey.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional child‑related references.
